Catching up!!

Well it has been a long time since we have posted, I have been slacking... well just really busy! Time to fill you in!
We moved into a new place and we love it! It has a living room and we're able to have a couch! Oh and we have a dishwasher, it is awesome! Brenden was in school for his first semester at LDS business college in Salt Lake City, Ut. He enjoyed it and can't wait to go back... well kind of. We both have been working lots and just hanging out. I'm still working as a Dental assistant and Brenden is still working with high risk behavior girls in a supported living situation. Pretty much we work, eat and sleep... oh and go on lots of dates!
Rylee got to come stay with us for a few days! She is so much fun and the cutest thing ever. Brenden and I loved being "parents" temporarily! There is a new addition to the Boyack family, my brother Nate and his wife had a little girl and named her Nora, she is precious! Also, we were able to head back to California for a week to see family and Daniel graduated from high school! GO DAN! It was a much needed vacation for both of us! We did hit our 1 year anniversary and it sure has gone by very quick! Our love has grown for each other and will continue growing forever and always! Oh and Brenden got me a beautiful necklace and matching ear rings for our anniversary! He is amazing!!!!
Well that is about it for now, nothing much else to report! We'll keep you posted!!

Our very first Christmas together!

Yay! It is Christmas time which means Christmas decorations! We got our lovely first Christmas tree and ornaments at good ole' Wally world! I love how it lights up our room! It will be nice spending Christmas with the one I love. We will be heading home for the week after Christmas but get to spend Christmas day together here in Provo!

Advice from the Cooks...

Situation: When you are not able to do all your dishes before you have company over, do not put them in the oven to hide them until you can hide them.

Why: Because there is the possibility that you can forget that they are there and then the next day you're hungry and want to preheat your oven.

Result: Things that are plastic melt.

Megan Boyack Smith- I love you and will always remember you!

If you didn't know my sister Megan she was an amazing person, full of personality and extremely caring! My sister has been fighting Leukemia for the past 4 months and today she passed away. It is so difficult to try and understand why but she is in a better place and no longer in pain! She put up a great fight and that's just how she was gave everything 100%! She was blessed to be a mommy for a short time to Rylee Hannah Smith and we see more and more of Megan through her. I love my sister very much and will miss her everyday of my life! She was the greatest sister ever and couldn't ask for more!

Late night snack

Brenden gets home from work late sometimes. Tonight he got home around 11:15pm and I told him that I would like a milkshake but I also pointed out it is probably too loud (since we do live above people). He said its okay I have an idea. He ALWAYS does! So he said watch this. He took our blender wrapped the cord around the fridge and set the blender inside to fridge to muffle the sounds! BRILLANT! It was a delicious banana, ice cream, milk, and nutella shake!!

My Rockin Awesome Husband!

I have the most amazing, incredible, caring, and loving husband!!! I was gone for about 3 days in Florida for a work seminar, and boy did we miss each other! It was very difficult for both of us!! Well when I came home it was about midnight, there were these amazing flowers on the table and the house was sooo clean too! He takes such great care of me and always lets me know how much he loves me!! I love you Brenden Cook!

Also, please continue to keep my sister in your prayers because she is back in the ICU having some more difficulties, she is strong but needs our support! I'll try to do better in keeping this updated.

Please Pray for Megan!

My wonderful, amazing, beautiful sister has been diagnosed with Leukemia and needs prayers! She recently had her bone marrow transplant but is in the ICU because her heart is weak and she was having a hard time breathing. They need all the prayers going their way! Her husband Ryan is absolutely amazing, he is such a positive, caring, strength for her, but he needs prayers too! I love them so much, please pray.
